Basically you can submit as many articles as possible to the different article directories. The articles should be informative and easy to read. You also should make sure the article is related to your website. In order to get a link from the article you are often allowed to leave a link to your website in the resource area of the article.

Forum submissions

There are lots of forums online and they are very helpful for SEO, because they are usually, very targeted. The same sort of principal applies when using forums. Make sure that you make useful contributions to forums and don’t just write rubbish and expect success. Usually with forums you are allowed to leave a signature within your post, this will count as a link to your website.

Directory submissions

There are actually places on the internet where you can submit you website that has the sole purpose or helping you to increase you ranking. All you have to do is do a search for directories using the search engines, and you should get a list of directories.

Video submissions

Using the various video sites it is now possible to get lots of visitors to your site as well as getting a link to your site. Some of the video sites allow you to leave a link to you site in the resource area. Also don’t forget to leave a web address to your site some where with the video.

SEO is an on going process and where ever you can leave a link you should just make sure that you are adding something to the places that you leaving a link. This will ensure that you are not banned or penalised by the website you are using.
