Volcanoes are very dangerous because when they erupt there is a river of red and orange hot lave running down the volcanoes. It make islands and all you see is a wasteland of black sand, which after time it changes into a beautiful island of tropical trees, plants everywhere, and the sand will change too. But there is one island that has black sand and the sand feels so good and it is soft when you step on it, it is also beautiful to see. They form from deep inside the earth but for it to form it has to heat up to about 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit and melts everything into what is called magma. It pushes it up to the surface and it forms a volcano.
When it explodes you will see the lava rise in the air and it is a huge amount at that. In Hawaii, you can go to the national park and see the volcanoes in action, there are gates to keep you away from it because the toxin from the volcanoes are dangerous and it can kill you. People of all over just to see the volcanoes, they say it is net to see and it is worth it. You can see the steam coming form the water because when lava hits it, it cools it down and it form into rocks. When you go there you can take a tour by cars, you can go on a hike to see it, and your can also tour it on bikes. The water is very hot and no animal can live in that area because they will die.
There are many places where there are volcanoes that do not erupt all the time. When they erupt the towns that are near them can be destroyed depending on how near they are from it. If they are far away they might have a chance that the lava will not get to them, but it also depends on how big the volcano is and how bad the explosion is. The lava will set trees, plants, and anything that’s in its way on fire which will turn into a huge wildfire that will spread for miles, destroying the land around it. When it go off there will be gray ashes falling from the sky and it covers everything, all you will see is nothing but ash and parts of buildings before the lava come. It will destroy everything by melting it or setting it on fire.
