Siding With The Law Of Attraction Makes Dreams Come True

The law of attraction has been around for some time. Even so, not everyone knows about it. There are also a number of those who are a little aware of what it is but have not been able to gain advantage from it. This may be because they are only superficially aware of the idea but may not really know how it all works. This, more than ever, is the time to discover the real story and power of this law.

What It Is

The attraction law is what you might call a global law. This means it applies to every single individual being on earth, regardless of location, race and personal circumstance. You can therefore be assured that nothing and no one can discriminate against your taking advantage from this law.

In simple terms, this law states that like attracts like. This however, should be understood beyond physical image. The attraction law specifically points to similar forces attracting each other. It has been proven by many people that thinking in a certain way will attract happenings of a similar nature. Hence, thinking positively can attract positive occurrences and negative thinking will attract negative results. These are known as like energies or forces.

How to Use It

The law of attraction consists ofmore than just thinking positively. A positive attitude or frame of mind simply implies a general outlook of the universe. The law should be applied in a deeper, more specific way. To be able to take advantage from the law, you must clearly know and think of what you want. Other believers in the law go farther by visualizing what they want in the present tense. This is your way of asking the universe to give you your desire. With your clear vision in mind, you have to act as if you already own it. Once you own what you want, you have to prepare yourself to receive it.

One crucial factor in this law is your ability to let go of all doubts. Some people wonder why they are not able to benefit from the law when they have religiously followed the rules to using it. It is important to understand that among many human beings, there are always small grains of doubt. Individuals may be aware of these doubts and simply shove them to the back or they may be unconscious of them. Doubts about what you want or your right to receive it will undermine the entire process.

Mind Power

For a lot of individuals, getting rid of doubts is never simple or easy. Even the most positive thinkers may occasionally experience moments of doubt or may hesitate at the precise moment when their dreams are about to come true.

Believing totally in what you want and in the certainty of receiving it may take some practice for some people. If this is true for you, then begin everyday with exercises to strengthen your mind. Practice everyday visualizing what you want and owning it and you will have begun your journey into using the law of attraction to your advantage.

Achieving Success - Build a Clear Vision If You Want to Achieve Your Goals

Achieving success in life should be easy. After all, your brain is perhaps the most advanced goal-seeking device that exists. And therein lies the problem and solution to achieve your goals.

Because your brain is so adept at goal achievement it will seek to achieve any target you set it. Unfortunately, many people are unwittingly pursuing the wrong target or goal and one common instance when this occurs is when you do not have a clear vision of what it is you’re trying to achieve.

When you don’t have a clear vision of your goal it’s like trying to complete a complex jigsaw puzzle without a picture of the end result. Imagine having hundred of puzzle pieces, many of them looking very similar and no reference point as to how to assemble these pieces. To make matter worse, the jigsaw puzzle pieces you’ve been given actually consist of more than one puzzle. How on earth are you going to be able to distinguish the puzzle pieces that are relevant to your particular puzzle?

“It’s very difficult to understand where a bunch of random elements and chunks of information fit if you don’t understand what the big picture looks like.”
Stephen Pierce

Because what happens when you set a goal is that the Universe responds and starts to present opportunities, people and resources that will help you to achieve your goal. Some of these may seem very obvious but others may be more subtle and may the last thing you’d expect would actually help you in achieving success. For instance, some of these opportunities will be disguised as frustration, rejection and failure.

Take for example, the former School Teacher turned Internet Marketer Lee McIntyre. Before turning Internet Marketer he said he once applied for a promotion at the school he was teaching and that he believed that he was ideally suited to but he wasn’t selected. That really riled him. He quit his job, decided to become self-employed and committed himself to achieving massive success. He wanted to show his former employer the stuff he was truly made of.

He is now a very successful Internet Marketer working from home. He still teaches but now he teaches others how they can make money online and achieve financial independence as he has. Now suppose Lee McIntyre had got that promotion. He would be in a 9-5 job where his salary would basically be capped. As an Internet Marketer Lee McIntyre has refined his way of working so that he can scale what he does and so earn more as and when he chooses to do so. The rejection he received was a blessing rather than a curse.

But here’s the thing. If you do not have a clear vision of what your future looks like then the Universe will respond in an equally vague manner. Say you’ve set a goal regarding the lifestyle you want to live then these are some of the questions you should be able to clearly answer regarding the accomplishment of your goal:

~ How much money will you be earning?
~ How will you earn your money?
~ Where will you be living?
~ What type of home will you be living in?
~ Who will you be living with?
~ How will you spend your leisure time?
~ What Charities will you be supporting?

Knowing the answers to these and other questions that you will come up with pertinent to the goals you’re aiming to achieve will really help you to refine your vision as well as help you to identify the people, tools and resources that you will need in order to achieve your goals.

When your vision is really clear then despite the jumble of jigsaw pieces that are presented to you, the pieces that are relevant to you will somehow stand out. If you do not get clear about your vision you’ll simply perish and all the while the opportunities you seek to achieve success could be hidden in plain view.

A great way for you to really focus on what you want, clarify your vision and accelerate your path to success is with a challenge. And the 100-Day Challenge is just perfect for this. Successful People: 3 Traits of Highly Successful People

Successful people may achieve their success by different means and on the surface may seem very different but there are certain traits which set them apart.

And, once you know the characteristics of highly successful individuals you can develop the same traits in yourself and, in so doing, start to increase the level of success you achieve in your own life.

So here are 3 traits of highly successful people:

1. They have a need to contribute.

Successful people become wealthy because of their fervent desire to make a difference. So the business they enter and the manner in which they conduct business both lend themselves to the idea of contribution to society.

And these individuals generally grow up with the value of giving back to society instilled in them and so tithing is natural to them. In other words, they don’t wait until they’re wealthy to start giving back to society. It’s something that they’ve always done and the wealthier they become the more they give.

In 2006, Warren Buffett announced that he would be donating 85% of his Berkshire Hathaway fortune which at the time was valued at over $40 billion to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Ironically, Bill Gates said that it was Warren Buffett who “inspired” their thinking about philanthropy. The Foundation is the largest in the world even before the Buffett’s generous gift.

You may think that it’s easy for someone as wealthy as Warren Buffett to make donations to charity but this is something he has been doing for years. He set up the Buffet Foundation (now the Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation) back in the 1960s when he was on a salary of about $50,000 a year.

2. They are very energetic.

Take Bob Proctor for example. He recently celebrated his 75th birthday. Yet he is as active as ever - teaching, coaching, mentoring, organising personal development cruises, conducting seminars, creating new products and the list simply goes on and on. What he manages to accomplish in a day would exhaust many people half his age. He is an avid believer of the Ralph Waldo Emerson quote:

“Do the thing and you will get the energy to do the thing.”

And he certainly lives this. Another, person who symbolises energy is Sir Richard Branson. From Virgin Health Bank to Virgin Galactic he tirelessly promotes his many businesses and causes that he supports. He is the face of Virgin and he epitomises the Virgin Brand.

However, Sir Richard Branson is more than an entrepreneur. In addition to his numerous and diverse business ventures he’s an adventurer as well. For instance, he has set various records for crossing the Atlantic and the Pacific in a hot air balloon.

There are some people who want to be successful but they are just so lethargic. They way they move, they way they speak and their input into whatever they do all lack energy. They’ll never achieve major success like this.

3. They make decisions quickly and change their minds slowly.

Successful people have complete clarity about what they want and this is one of the factors that empowers them to make decisions quickly. They also know what they don’t want. In addition, they know the importance of taking action to achieve success and the thing is, you cannot take action on something until you make a decision.

So they make speedy decisions and so that they can quickly take action. Take Internet Marketer Russell Brunson. Russell Brunson recently made the decision to take up wrestling again and train for the 2012 London Olympic Games. This meant semi-retiring from his multi-million Internet Marketing business - a big decision in of itself.

However, once he made that decision he quickly hired one of the world’s best Greco-Roman wrestling coaches, bought a building which he could convert into a gym for himself and others to train, and offered World Bronze Medallist Justin Ruiz what was effectively a training scholarship to become his training partner.

Now clearly it helped that Russell Brunson had the financial resources to implement these actions but it’s the mindset of being decisive that has helped him to achieve the level of success he has accomplished. And, by being so decisive he also effectively cut off any avenues that would allow him to backtrack on his decision.

You too can adopt these traits and reap the reward of achieving greater success in life.

Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences

Learning styles and multiple intelligences play a huge role in the success of college students today. “changes and advances in technology have led many educators to reconsider traditional, uniform instruction methods and stress the importance of considering student learning styles in the design and delivery of course content”(Romanelli et al., 2009). In order to prepare students for their online college career Baker College has created a course called “College Success Online”. This course introduced the concept of the three learning styles and the seven multiple intelligences in order to increase the students awareness of how they best learn and which of the multiple intelligences are their strongest. This is done by having the students complete two surveys entitled, Learning Styles Inventory and Multiple Intelligences Inventory.

The three learning styles are; “Visual Learners: learn through seeing”, “Auditory Learners: learn through listening”, “Tactile/Kinesthetic Learners: learn through, moving, doing and touching” (LdPride, n.d.). The result of my Learning Styles Inventory suggests that my strength lies within the Auditory Learning category. I still scored relatively high in the Visual Learners category and find it most difficult to learn through moving, doing, and touching. However, I did find the results to be balanced in regards to my learning styles as there was only a one or two point spread between the categories.

The next survey was in regards to Multiple Intelligences which are broken down into seven categories; “Visual/Spatial Intelligence: ability to perceive the visual, Verbal/Linguistic Intelligence: ability to use words and language, Logical/Mathematical Intelligence: ability to use reason logic and numbers, Bodily/Kinesthetic Intelligence: ability to control body movements and handle objects skillfully, Musical/Rhythmic Intelligence: ability to produce and appreciate music, Interpersonal Intelligence: ability to relate and understand others, Intrapersonal Intelligence: ability to self reflect and be aware of one’s inner state of being”(LdPride, n.d.). Out of these seven categories I scored highest in both Logical and Intrapersonal intelligences which explains my pursuit of a technical degree in computer science. My weakest category was in Interpersonal Intelligence which was what I had originally projected as my weakest since part of my personality type is a conditioned mildly expressed extrovert.

Ultimately, being aware of Learning Styles and Multiple Intelligences will have a direct impact on success in college. For me, understanding that I learn best by both by audio and visual means allows me to utilize techniques such as reading aloud or taking notes to ensure that I can absorb as much information as possible. Also, understanding my weakness in interpersonal intelligence allows me to be more cautious when dealing with people as well as take part in activities such as group discussion and communication courses that will further develop my skill in regards to that category.

Achieving Success - How the Success You Achieve in Life is Affected by Your Beliefs

Achieving success should be easy after all you’ve probably heard a hundred times if not more that people have infinite potential. Yet all around you are people are not living up to their potential and not achieving the level of success they desire in life.

Take the example of what happens when people buy courses, attend seminars and buy even more courses. Very often they do nothing with the material they purchased. Sometimes the packages don’t even get opened.

Now they had every good intention to put the material to use. When they bought the program or course they were sold on the idea of how they could achieve success and transform their life. So what happened?

What happened is that they lost their belief that they could successfully make the program work for them. They decided to settle for what they had in life instead of going after what they could achieve.

You see their core belief was not congruent with the belief they could be successful. Your core beliefs are programmed into your sub-conscious mind and therefore dictate the actions that you take. And the actions you take will determine the results you achieve.

So, if a person fundamentally does not believe that by working through the program they can achieve the results they desire they simply will not take action. And, if they do, they’ll self-sabotage their efforts so that things remain just the way they were - well almost.

You see you’re either growing or dying. And, the only way you can grown mentally, spiritually and emotionally is for you to strive towards your goals. Continually self-sabotaging your goals by either taking minimal action on a project or starting a project and then stopping before completing it is utterly soul-destroying.

Fundamentally, the potential that we’re able to liberate is dependent upon our beliefs because our beliefs drive the actions that we take which affect the results that we achieve.

Now there is a minority of individuals who actually follow through when they buy course and or attend training programmes. And these individuals provided they complete whatever program they’ve chosen to take action on, achieve results and often staggering results. So what the difference between those who follow through and those who don’t?

“We’re more afraid of what life would be like if we didn’t follow through than the person who is willing to settle for what they’ve got and kind of hope it will change and purchase something for the moment and not follow through with it.”
Tony Robbins

Another factor that influences whether or not a person takes action or not is their level of desperation. Many times, when a person does take action and follow through, they’ve hit rock bottom. They’re in a position where they’d do almost anything to climb out of the pit they’re in.

Often, it’s a case that whatever it is they’re doing just has to work because the consequences of it not are just too awful to contemplate so failure is not an option. And therein lies what Tony Robbins describes as the holy grail between someone taking action or not - certainty.

“When you’re absolutely certain that if I do this it’s going to get that result and that result is going to change my life - you’ll do it. When you think it absolutely won’t work you’re never going to do it. The middle no man’s land of maybe it’ll work, maybe it won’t - that’s the piece that kills people.”
Tony Robbins

So the question is how do you create certainty when the world isn’t giving it to you? If you’ve got a negative balance on your bank account, you’re receiving final demands in the mail and you’re struggling to keep the roof over your head how do you create certainty?

The answer goes back to your belief systems.

“You have to believe it in your mind and then you’ll take the necessary action to create the results that you desire.”
Tony Robbins

And you not only have to believe it you have to clearly see your end result. As Mark Victor Hansen said,

“When you can see the invisible, you can do the impossible now.”

So, when your beliefs are such that you can clearly see your goal and can hold this vision fixed in your mind you’ll take the action steps necessary to achieve the results you desire and your latent potential will shine.

Time Management Tips to Replace Circular Planning with Successfully Completed Projects

Time management tips require your flexibility and initiative to be effectively carried out. Even if you experience success through the planning stage, you may still procrastinate when it comes to transforming plans into actions. Like it or not, fully ready or not, sometimes you do need to “just do it”, to reap the rewards of all your good planning.

How often do you deprive yourself of valuable opportunities, simply because it’s easier to put off what you need to do? You’re hardly alone - countless projects are stranded on the planning board. But yours needn’t be!

If you procrastinate with fear-based ‘circular planning’, taking even the smallest first action step may mobilize you.

It is for you to determine if this is a genuine problem for you. Here are 3 indicators that would suggest that you procrastinate through circular planning:

1) You plan the same activity several times over, out of fear of making a mistake.

2) You substitute planning for the risk of taking the first step.

3) You find it difficult to stop planning, and this interferes with other activities.

Break out of this destructive deadlock in 3 steps:

1) Tune into your rhythms.

Catch your tendency to procrastinate through circular planning as quickly as possible. The sooner you break this pattern, the more swiftly you can replace it with something truly productive. Without a hint of judgment, simply identify what you are doing and ‘escort’ your thoughts to more useful topics.

It can also be extremely helpful to give a voice to any subterranean fears. Sometimes a double-chair dialogue is useful. Ask yourself what mistakes you are concerned about, and who, if anyone, you feel you need to please.

2) Examine whether you can lower your expectations for your first step.

First steps can be overburdened with symbolism, making them seem riskier than they need to be. Calmly review how you will pick yourself up if you stumble, and affirm that learning as you go is a productive use of your time, too.

3) Take the next step, breaking it down if necessary into sub-steps.

Notice how initial anxiety often gives way to satisfaction once you move beyond planning and immerse yourself in your new activity.

Any time a step feels overwhelming, break it down into smaller steps. Then commit to that one activity at your next sitting. By refusing to take no for an answer, you empower your determination, not your resistance.

Powerful planning gains much of its strength from versatility. Make the time choice that is most practical, instead of clinging to a one-size-fits-all solution. The more directly you resolve concerns about translating plans into action, the more effective your planning will become. And the more you will enjoy productivity with less procrastination and more effective use of time.

What is your next step to develop your effectiveness and find quality time?

Achieving Success - Know What You Want to Achieve Success in Life

To say that the key to achieving success in life is to know what you want sounds rather simplistic. But the fact is that too many people say that they don’t know what they want and this, unfortunately, proves to be their undoing.

Personal development expert and star of the movie “The Secret” famously says:

“Tell me what you want and I’ll show you how to get it.”

What a seemingly irresistible invitation. And the truth is Bob Proctor is not the only one saying this to you. This is something that the Universe silently and continuously whispers to each and every one of us every day.

But the trouble is that too many people don’t even take the time to identify what they want - no wonder they feel frustrated and unfulfilled. In an online forum a young girl recently asked what she should request for her birthday. Now, if this person couldn’t even identify what they wanted for their birthday, what was the likelihood of her being able to define what she generally wanted out of life itself?

And, asking this question of a group of strangers, regardless of how well-intentioned those strangers may be, sets a rather dangerous precedent. You see many people end up living other people’s lives and this is one way in which this happens - by asking other people to make your decisions for you. As Jim Rohn says,

“You can’t hire someone else to do your push-ups for you.”

And this pertains to mental as well as physical “push-ups”. It’s imperative that to achieve success in life you have to take 100% responsibility for your life and that includes taking responsibility for deciding what you want in life.

The thing is that, deep down, people know what they want but they are afraid to articulate what they want for fear of being disappointed. So what’s a little disappointment? It’s really down to how you perceive that disappointment because if you ask for something and don’t get it you’re really no worse off than before you asked.

Now, it may be that what this young girl secretly desired was expensive or difficult to come by. Yet, by expressing her desire and believing that she could attain what she wanted she would be putting into motion processes by which she could get what she wanted.

But it’s not enough to vaguely know what you want. You must be able to clearly identify what you want. You don’t go to an architect and say build me a house. The architect needs to know where the house will be built, the overall size, the types of rooms you want included, the numbers of various rooms, the orientation of the house, who the house will be for and what the house will be used for and so on. The more detail you’re able to give the architect the more closely the architect will be able to design your ideal home.

It costs nothing to dream. Once you identify what you want the Universe will show you how to achieve your dream and this will generally mean that you have to do some work to achieve your goal. And this is where people also become unstuck because, generally the more ambitious the goal, the more work that has to be done in order to achieve the goal. And some people are simply not prepared to do what is necessary to achieve their goal because they perceive that it’s just too hard.

The reality is that it’s much harder to live a life where you are not getting what you want out of life simply because in the first place you’re too fearful to express your wants and secondly you don’t want to put the effort in to achieve your goals.

Sometimes, to achieve your goals you simply have to get tough on yourself and set yourself a challenge. What if you could achieve what you want within 100 days? Achieving Success - How to Stay Focused on Just One Opportunity

One of the keys to achieving success is focus and in particular staying focused on just one particular opportunity until it works.

However, maintaining your focus, especially in today’s environment, is a real challenge. If you’re like the average person you are no doubt literally inundated with opportunities every single day. It’s like being a kid in a candy store. When faced with so many tantalising opportunities it’s so easy to flit from one thing to another. The problem with this approach is that you find that time months and maybe even years elapse and there’s no evidence of real progress.

So just how do you stay focused on one and only one opportunity? Here are 5 tips to achieve this goal:

1. Know Your Why

First of all you need to define your why. In other words what’s your end goal? What do you want to accomplish? And why do you want to accomplish this particular goal? You must have a very powerful why. It must be absolutely clear in your mind and remain the centre of your focus as you carry out your daily activities.

Pain is a strong motivator. So your why should be such that not achieving your goal will be particularly painful. And your desire to avoid this pain will be powerful enough to help you break through any fears you may have regarding achieving success in your chosen endeavour.

2. Identify Your Strengths

Knowing and playing to your strengths is vital component in goal achievement. When you play to your strengths you maximize your chances of success and you also achieve success faster and easier. And success breeds success. The other consideration with playing to your strengths is that certain opportunities will be an excellent complement to your strengths and others will not. The later situation could be a clear case of an opportunity you should perhaps forego.

3. Establish Clear Criteria for Assessing Opportunities

Now while generally you should focus on one opportunity and be successful at that before moving on to another there will be opportunities that come along that will compliment and enhance what you’re currently doing. So it’s useful to develop a checklist to help you assess opportunities that come your way. This will give you a systematic, objective, no-sense approach to of dealing with the multitude of opportunities that cross your path.

4. Identify Your Key Mentors and Coaches

There’s a wealth of great information out there and there’s also a lot of information that’s of poor quality, outdated and inaccurate. Fortunately, once you’ve been around for a while you discover who you can trust. So it’s important to establish a core group of individuals who you know you can definitely trust. Once you’ve done this, to further improve your focus, unsubscribe from all other mailing lists so that you don’t get distracted. You can re-subscribe later on once you’ve achieving success becomes a habit rather than simply trying out new ideas.

5. Have an Accountability Partner

Having an accountability partner can be a huge benefit. This person needs to be tough and someone who will not tolerate your excuses. Remember, though that you can negotiate exactly what you want to be held accountable for. It can often be an added advantage if that person is accountable to you as well as this can give that added incentive for you both to carry out what you agree to do by maintaining your focus on just one opportunity.

Once you achieved success in one area you’ll find it easy to duplicate that success in either the same area or perhaps a different area.

Another way to stay focused on just one opportunity is to have a challenge and a deadline to heighten your competitive spirit and motivate you to pull the stops out to achieve your goal.
